I'll start us off. Only 92 for me, my great uncle who is alive and well. He fought in WW2 as a Partisan so he has a few interesting stories to tell. I'm interested to see how many people have had a relative who has lived over 100.

All of my grandparents are dead, so I'll steal my wife's grandfather who is a measly 86.

I don't actually know. My great great Aunt died 99 last year. The grandparents have gone now too. But I don't know half my mums side family or any of my dads side. So the oldest I know is 68ish.
Twice in my lifetime we have had 5 living generations. Unfortunately all the old ones are women!

There are people in Guinea Bissau who could give you a run for your money!

Until recently we have had 5 generations in the family. The 5 generations lasted about 10 years which is pretty unusual. My great Nan who passed away in May was 98 whilst my niece is 10.

I don't have any particularly old relatives. However, a 60-ish-year-old Kenyan colleague of mine's grandad is still knocking around, and going for mountain walks. Thing is, nobody knows how old the guy is as when he was younger Kenyans never used to bother keeping count!

Some great stories there...and this one is just brilliant! A front runner in the competition for Swindon's oldest fan.

A fairly unimpressive 70ish for me (for an aunt) - but only because the older generation in my family passed on recently in fairly quick succession. Just over 5 years ago I still had 3 living grandparents, but they died within the space of 2½ years, aged between 86 and 91. Nearly 40 now, so I count myself lucky to have known them for as long as I did. And some good genes in there, hopefully!
