Been very happy with it, although the winter has been very unkind on it. Have just had to replace the headset and am sending back the rear derailleur under warranty. My requirements were: - 25/28mm tyres - 105 - Hydraulic discs - 52/36 & 11-32t (to mimic my summer bike) - Strong wheels for a heavy rider - Full mudguards for messy commutes. I looked at the Ribble and most of the other things around the £1k mark. I also 'negotiated' a little and got what I considered to be very good value for money. |

Best I could find (and I spent months looking). Although, if you are quick, this is an absolute bargain if its your size: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142737478187?_trksid=p2062857.m570.l5999&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI142737478187.N36.S2.R2.TR2They have only been out less than a year and cost £1300 new. Only negative is there are no mudguard mounts on the back (although you can fit Crud Roadracers) |

Nah I am 6'3..... One requirement is pannier mounts as fancy doing a bit of touring as I get older - although obviously will need to start smoking a pipe and get a Brooks saddle! |

Anyone know of a place near the hospital where I can pop in to wash my bike at lunch time? Just need a quick jet wash. I'm thinking Texaco garage on Marlborough Road but I want to do it myself really.

After stage 11 of the Giro, Simon Yates now has half of all the Maglia Rosa’s ever won by British cyclists (12).
He probably needs to take at least another 90 seconds out of Dumoulin to negate the Dutchman’s TT strength.

Fair play to Yates and Mitchelton Scott.
Not just today, but the way he's attacked.
Additionally - Dumoulin looks shagged. 1 bad day and he could lose 2nd (he's not got the same quality team around him that Yates does)
