Sagan is there, must be favourite if in any sort of shape.
I'd love him to, he has been building as a good one day rider in recent seasons but still not quite sure if he has the legs. Quick Step have Boonen, Terpstra, Martin & Vandenbergh riding. That's one hell of a team.

Sagan beaten by GVA, which is OK by me, GVA is one of those usually up there but not always winning...Sepp Van Marke being the role model.

There was talking earlier regarding trying to find a nicked bike (or trying to find out if a bike for sale is nicked) - this might be a helpful resource http://findthatbike.co.uk/

Anyone see the final stage of Paris Nice? Epic, doesn't do it justice. Contador attacked half way up Col d'Eze, Geraint who was in yellow by 15 secs cracked, Bertie pulled out 35 secs, and took Porte with him, and they soon pulled back Wellens. Sergio Henao, paced G to the top and along with Tony Gallopin who wanted highest placed Frenchman, did a fantastic downhill, to pick up the next group and close Contador down to a few seconds at the line. Wellens took the stage and the bonus secs leaving G winner by 4 or 5 secs from Contador.

Just watched the end of the Tirreno-Adriatico.
Final stage was an individual TT & GVA beat Sagan in the overall by 1 second.

He's not doing himself any favours. I wonder how his outspoken nature will affect contract talks at the end of the year...

I do enjoy perving over bikes and that is definitely tugworthy! (shame it's a boardman though)

I can't be bothered to trawl through 146 pages of this thread, but as someone who has taken an interest in wanting to ride a road bike, and yet to purchase a bike, can any of you put together an idiots guide of what to look for in the spec of bike?
I appreciate some will be budget driven, some will be opinion, but if there are any hard and fast rules such as your choice of frame material is x,y and z, or the choice of gears or breaks are a, b and c. It will help me (and possibly others) try to make an informed, unbiased decision when trying to find the perfect starter bike.
