Bloody good diving competition that. 3 divers separated by .15 going into the final round. Unfortunately for Daley he'd used his high tariff dives up, whereas the other two hadn't. But a bronze is still bloody good.

It's nearly over and I have to say the Olympics are fucking great, especially when you are winning medals regularly.

Its been a couple of good weeks, and I've all the events, and got to watch some sports that I wouldn't normally watch like handball, waterpolo and of course the beach volleyball.

I know its not going to be as "big", but think I'll try for some cycling/swimming/athletic tickets for the paralympics.

Even though I think I'm a little bit in love with Mo, I think Wiggins shades it. The Tour de France win on its own would have set him up nicely.  To follow it up with Gold was immense.  The BBC have a proper selection headache this year.  I could possibly see them bending the rules.

The presenters were talking about this last weekend.  I think it was Denise Lewis who said it was about time they had a separate sportsman and sportswoman award.  I wonder if they might split it out this year to recognise more of them?

I finally managed to get tickets for some paralympic events. Cost me an arm and a leg though!

2.5 million tickets were available and now sales are at 2.1 million which has beaten the previous total of 1.8m. A massive amount of tickets have been bought up in the last few days which would suggest the feel good factor is definitely working.

Just hope the feel good factor starts creeping into the economy.

Following the highlights of Luke Campbell's gold in the boxing, Gaby Logan said he lost his mother and baby sister 6 years ago.  Unless I'm very much mistaken his mum was pointed out in the crowd celebrating with other members of his family.  Also, I read an article a few days ago where he was praising his mum for all she did for him and the hours she worked.  Pretty poor to get something like that wrong.

Daley wins bronze in diving. First British individual medal since 1960. Hope that imbicile abusing him on twitter feels stupid now.

That would have been Brian Phelps...who recently got banged up for child sex abuse. Not to be confused with Swindon's only Olympic swimmer Brian Jenkins (Tokyo 1964)...sadly the days when Milton Road was state of the art are long gone.

Been even better when we've been winning everything before us!
