Ive loved everything in the Velodrome, looking forward to BMX now.

Likewise.

The word legend gets used quite freely, too much so IMO, but Chris Hoy really is a legend.

i don't think it was quite like that sippo, the two brothers are very strong runners, i don't think the other bloke is as strong as them, if he thought he was capable he'd have gone with them once the running started to try to get a 1,2,3

I'd be pissed off if I was brought into the 'team' just to help someone else win the race.

By all accounts he wouldn't have got selected on his own merits cos he is weak at running.

Agreeing to pace the other 2 meant he got to compete in the games, better than the alternative of sitting at home watching on TV.

Poor British boxer Fred Evans getting a right rollicking in his corner from the trainer.  He's won the first two rounds as well!

South Korea battered Brazil for 20 minutes, if they had any quality they'd have gone 1 0 up.

Class won in the end.

Oops.  Express and mirror seem to have passed off a picture of the third placed dutch dressage team as being our gold medal heroes.

Ok nobody would recognise a dressage sportsman, but the bronze medals round their neck should have been a clue.

Why dont the horses get a medal and podium.

See the British Olympic Association chief Colin Moynihan has called for the Olympic volunteers to be nominated for the Sports Personality of the Year team award. Personally I'd give them the main Sports Personality of the Year award, outright without a vote.

How they can stay so cheerful, helpful and all round amazing all of the time is beyond me. Non-stop shouts to gee up the crowd, unbelievably helpful, constant high fives, coming up and offering help without being asked and so on. One of them came up to me and said give me your camera and I'll take some pictures of you - he practically grabbed it from me and started taking pictures.

Amazing, absolutely amazing and they really deserve some proper recognition.
