Although I do buy the argument that using colour as a part of verbal abuse/insult does not necessarily mean that they are racist. Just an observation, followed by subsequent abuse?

And why would Ferdinand say those words in any sort of context?
Would it have been the same if black had been substituted for Welsh, Jock, Irish or even Ginger?
