Personally, how the final is played at the home of one of the finalists is a joke. It should've been taken away from Munich as soon as they reached the final. I know cities bid to host it, but UEFA should put a proviso in saying that that if the host club reaches the final, the final goes to an alternative venue. I think most 'experts' say that the 'home' venue gives Munich the advantage....which shouldn't happen.

I still find it amazing that the Millennium Stadium has still yet to host a CL or Europa Cup final.

You could argue that Chelsea's spending power gives them more of an advantage than any home ground issues

I don't particularly favour either team, I'm just going to enjoy it as a neutral.

This.

Wouldn't mind it going all the way to penalties, just for some excitement.

He's running in a Consolation Final at Tralee, but he is real slow from traps but runs on strong.

I sent one over to Swindon a couple of months ago who is being readied for a win next time up.

PM me if you are interested
good luck with your dogs, whats the dog running at tralee called?

Good point though i doubt England would have a star on there shirts if it hadn't been played in England in 66.

Bayern for me.  I like German football and detest John Terry.  The prospect of that self obsessed git coming on at the end to lift the trophy makes my support lie entirely behind Munich.

Shame really, because I quite like Frank Lampard.

I'm not talking about World Cup/European Championships where the whole tournament takes place in one/two countries. The CL final is a one off, where the tournament takes place all around Europe. If they want the final still in Germany, move it to somewhere like Dortmund, but not in one of the finalists home ground.

I hope, if Chelsea win it, Terry lets Lampard collect the trophy on his own. After what Terry did in Barca, they were on their way out...and then he said he didn't mean it...Cock !!!

Good to see both teams in their home strips.

Bayern are nothing special. Chelsea just need to be a bit more positive second half and they'll win this.
