Why are we still under a Cap? We’re off embargo
I meant this season we’ve been capped

Agreed. I think Ward is more than good enough to be our keeper next season. His kicking/play with ball at his feet, whilst far from perfect has improved as the season has progressed.
Was always what I expected/hoped would come with regular game time.

Egbo's "tweet" unfortunately sounds like a goodbye. Which,if true, is a shame.Would be a massive boost to keep hold of him

I fear the exodus list will be comprehensive. I await with interest the ambition at the club now the embargo is lifted. After all the club have been backed by the Supporters as requested. A team full of kids and free loans is not the answer in my opinion or a wafer thin squad without the depth to change or influence games. Cutting the budget is not the answer. We are not here to develop other clubs players and all about getting this club with big potential moving again. This season after all was a free hit.

I don't mind an exodus to a certain extent, it's what we replace it with that matters.

Yes,this is the worry. Securing Egbo and Payne would be an unbelievable start to the business and, although he gets a lot of negative press,Davison on a permanent would be a good move in my opinion.A pre season with us would improve him I'm sure and we could have a decent L2 striker

I took Egbo’s tweet to purely mean the season was over, not his Town career

Would love to keep Egbo but that sounded like a "its a goodbye from me, and its goodbye from him".

Yeah I can see how you would read that actually. I suppose he can't say, 'looking forward to more' or anything given I suspect we will at least try and get him signed up.

McKirdy's tweet, on the other hand, saying "We'll be back" sounded positive.....

He’s signed for another season already, whereas Manny isn’t (yet)

I don't mind an exodus to a certain extent, it's what we replace it with that matters. exactly that. I'd love to keep most of the squad together and add a few. That's the ideal. But it's unrealistic. An interesting summer ahead. Fan perception is that debts are under control, that crowds are well over predictions and that budget will be released for a proper go at promotion. rightly so ---------------------- players tweets. Get more idea of intent from the tea leaves
