Despite the last two games being not great in terms of performance they have been notable for impressive displays of scarf waving and holding aloft by the fans, particularly like the old school red and white banded ones..... maybe the club could flog a load off cheap this Saturday so that we can give Paolo and the team a sight fit for Champions Or is that just a really lame idea on my part?

Or people could just buy them full price? They're becoming a bit of a trend now, so the club will probably look to make as much money out of them as they can.

Fair point on the price....just get a few of the shop staff out and about round the ground selling them maybe?

I left my old scarf on the train before the Wigan cup game so would probably purchase one of the red and white scarves. £10 are they?

Ebay about £7 plain red and white, quality of the one I bought is outstanding. The clubs version was sold out when I went to buy one. Could do a roaring little trade if bought say 100 and sold at a tenner!

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the scarf waving from the last two games as much as the next man, but I'm not a fan of the 'old school' red and white strips. Purely because the big clubs give them out for free and to be honest, their fans look like lemmings. Same with those poxy flags Chelsea they give away. Recently purchased a couple of older numbers off eBay, crucially with 'Swindon town fc' down the middle.

I prefer the stripey scarves to the plain red ones to be honest.

To me Scarves held aloft or twirled adds to the atmosphere so a mixture of old and new looks good all the same. At Aldershot because the terrace was fairly dark it didn't look as good in the pictures as it was on the night. Taking scarves to matches is more of an old school thing but like the idea of having more of them at the County ground.

I think we should get real old school and wear 1970's style satin scarves.
(Tied around our wrists, obviously)

Still got an old silk scarf, the one with the ST badge on it like the one on the retro shirt from Flash. The tassels are frayed and worn though from hanging it out of the car window up and down the country.

I used to wear replica shirts to games but ditched them a few years ago and to show my colours now I always take a scarf, would be great to see more of them at the CG, although I prefer the plain red with 'Swindon Town FC' across them, to me that's what a football scarf should be like.
