Good away performance tonight. Risser and Smith provided a real physical presence in the first half. Glad to see Murray finally take a chance that the pace and movement he offers us deserves. McCormack MOM as usual - a class above. Thought McEverly was excellent; calm on the ball, never beaten, dangerous delivery. Di Canio seemed pretty angry in his post match cameo...

Win the next three games...we go to 89 points.

Crawley,Torquay and Shrews can all get a max of 93 points, and the odds are that at least one will drop points, over the next 10 days.

A potential banana skin avoided tonight and first ever win at Underhill according to the radio.  Good stuff lads.

If I understood correctly from Paolo's post-match interview Holmes & Ritchie aren't too badly injured but having won tonight he'll likely rest them again on Friday rather than risking them before full recovery.

"I see we attracted a bigger gate at Barnet Friday than Swindon did today! The Gulls are obviously the team to watch.

Swindon won't be worth watching next season"

Funnily enough Poxford said a similar thing regarding the Rovers game

Quote
Rovers only took 1,578 to Swindon strange as they bought more to us, (1,675) despite Swindon being a lot closer and an easy train route, perhaps they see us as a bigger match.

27 goals conceded in 39 games, best in the FL.

In England, only the two Manchester clubs have a better record although they have played 8 games less.

Fair play to the lads in defence!

Looking at those fixtures I think we still need 4 more wins to secure the title. 2 more wins should see us get promotion as I think Torquay will pick up 10 points from their last 6 leaving a gap of 5 points.
