This may be a far fetched idea but what if it was Bodins choice?

What, you mean in the same way it was his choice to go to Torquay in the first place? That he asked the boss if he could go to get games?.........

Surely not

OH LOOK IT'S SOMETHING VAGUELY NEGATIVE LET'S JUMP DOWN THEIR THROAT.

I'd say Bodin is our second best striker, probably on par with connell. I'd rather he stay here ahead of Murray and Tehoue because I think he'd offer us more on the pitch at this point in time - not because of his development. Our squad is weaker without him than it is with him.

I can understand the confusion over the move

Apart from Bodins wonder goal i personally have been a tad disapointed in his general all round play in the matches i have seen him.
An obvious talent he will be back and better for it.
He has a bright future, and it will be here in my opinion.

As for all you people knocking Paolo for not starting Connell.....Connell was gagging for it the other night and had his best game by miles.
Maybe good management in my book.

I think Tehoue will prove a very useful addition to the squad, his link up play was much improved on Tuesday night and he's a more physical presence than Bodin.

Bodin's got bags of potential though and I hope he's here next season.

I'm not on twitter and my name is Jo.  As for changing the record, I can't remember expressing an opinion about Bodin previously, Connell yes, but not Bodin?

You miss the point...... Some people are just to repetitive

And I agree with everything you say. I'm a bit miffed at BB going.

Sorry.Did i just see someone say we are weaker without Bodin? on what basis? I two poorest patches of form have actually coincided with when he has been involved.I think he is a great prospect but pretty much agree with leefer.

Thats not a dig at a negative post btw.I'm just inclined to trust what our manager is doing

Agree to disagree I guess. I was probably a bit harsh to write tehoué off, but from what I've seen of Murray and Bodin this season I'd have Bodin ahead of Murray every time. That's what I meant when I said the squads weaker.

Paolo's transfer record has been a bit hit and miss, but you can't argue with the end result. Just hope there's a place for Bodin for next season

Really surprised that he's gone on loan, hopefully he'll get given a new contract.. I like him and I know for a fact he wants to stay and play for us.

Does anybody know any more about his contract status, other than nothing has been signed

I thought they had began discussions some time ago......

I think he has something offer us, mainly because his key attributes are those that set him apart as someone who can cut the mustard higher up: first touch, anticipation, movement, but:

a) Tehouhe is a completely different type of player. An impact sub, strong and direct. No comparison.

b) If him going temporarily sees him play more games, good - we benefit, just like before.

c) If him going temporarily sees us persuade Bostock for next year and we have both of them next year, great.

d) Murray is free if he plays isn't he? Sending him back wouldn't allow for others to come in.
