We were in there last time and it was great. What was the Green Man like last time...staffed properly? I have images of that pub in Leicester when it took 45 mins to gets served.
If those Leicester cunts served people in order it would have been alright.

Hence my question on the previous page.

Do people really only drink in these places in the UK these days?

There are last resort places as far as I'm concerned.

Prefer my beer not to have that watery taste to it.

For those that do want to go to the Wetherspoons at Baker Street it's open from 10am on Sunday but will be closing early (3.30/4pm).

Apparently.

Is that song saved for wembley trips only? To a man singing it vehemnetly in those clips, yet barely heard before or since?

As per BR below, good luck getting a drink anywhere else at 10am.

I happen to like Wetherspoons! not to mention it's cheaper than most places and more often than not has a decent atmosphere  Cheesy

It usually gets brought out around wembley time yeah, very rarely gets sung otherwhys.

Bit disappointing that it was the only song on video though as we seemed to go through the entire back catalogue of Swindon songs that day, from team of Alan Reeves, to walking in a Finney wonderland to the very last song and a moment I will always remember 'One Jimmy Davis' as everyone left the pub with the massive flag above our heads, great moment. The people who went to the green man that day really don't quite get just how good it was in JJ Moons when people say it....unfortunately it was all down hill from there.

JJ Moons was class last time and I will certainly be going back. By far the best pre match atmosphere I have heard. Non stop for 4 hours. Always enough room to move even though people were queuing outside to get in. And the bar was well staffed from what I remember. Dont get why everyone is choosing the green man over this. But we will all have a great time there again Smiley
