Isn't it just great that we can have a divisional player of the month that doesn't even win our own fan's vote (Macca won the washbag vote)?  just shows our overall strength.

likewise Ritchie being in final 3 up for player of the season but for many fans not first choice for our team's player of the season.  Good Times!

benson does deserve the award for not only the goals he has scored but his workrate as well, paynter had his great season but didnt work off the ball like benson and how austin used to so well done Benno! tbf alan mac/caddis/super wes could all have won the award but defenders dont often get the same recognition as the strikers
