Is anyone familiar with the works of Bristol folker Fred Wedlock? I am thinking older forum members might have a clue.

My Dad tells me there is a song in which he mentions Swindon Town fans but I can't find the song. Any ideas?

He was a City fan (the Wedlock stand at the slavetraders ground is named after his grandfather, goalkeeper early 1900's).

Also who or what were the Stratton boot boys?

Maybe Skinheads, can't find the lyrics though:

The great Fred Wedlock's song about skinheads related to City's support of that era and featured the immortal line "The devil is a greebo and he rides a motor bike".
