So a manager who is allowed to spend lavishly on players and fail miserably as it seems the case at Crawley will suddenly become the saviour of a football club with no money at all.......how effective is Steve Evans in reality.............i think Crawleys recent run is giving us an idea of hoe effective he really is.
Having Steve Evans as manager wouldn't guarantee survival in my opinion.

Leefer.

You were very quick to blame Wilson's demise on the board last season...............

Anyway.

Not trying to say Evans would be a good choice. Just that I can see why some clubs could see him as somebody that could do a nasty job that needs to be done.

Mad dog Allen could have kept us up last season

Lost me Cheesy Cheesy

I sort of see what you are getting at Flasheart but his record isnt that great in reality and his off field antics with Boston may well put clubs off in the future.

A fair few Crawley fans are moaning about the hoofball they play too. Not that hoofball can't get results.

There are very few people I really dislike in football but Evans has definitely become one of them. I only wish bad things on him and whatever he attempts within his football career.

Complaining about hoofball when somebody has taken you from non-league to pushing for League One is ridiculous. I can't stand Evans, but whichever way you spin it he's done a pretty good job there so far. Let's just hope the bubble bursts soon.

I hope he goes to Rotherham this week. Crawley could lose the next few games and we could be up.
