But annoying insomuch as I missed much of the first quarter of the Broncos, as, after scoring at will, they both decided not to do so for ages into OT!

So....will the Bengals make a move for Kirk Cousins? I suspect not and to be honest I'm not sure that they should as I do like Jake Browning.

Having said that, the main problem with back up QB's based on personal observation, is that they may be good for 2,3 or even 4 games but then they start to struggle as defences figure them out and they start to wilt under the mental and physical pressure of being a starter.

Would that happen to Browning?

At least we're 2-0 (amazingly) and next up are the Vikings who are showing that they may not be as good as I thought they were at the beginning of the season...
I can't see them going for Cousins (he might want more than vet minimum!).
The play calling for Browning is nicely simplified compared to the madness they try to dial up for Joe, but it can be schemed against easier. That said, I have more confidence in Browning being QB1 than bringing someone new in...the known flaws are there (3 int's from really bad throws) and you can work around it easier than working with someone new from day 1.

MN - JJ McCarthy has an ankle issue, so might not play vs us...which would be nice! A backup battle in Minnesota....

I've seen it reported that McCarthy is definitely out on Sunday so we'll be up against Carson Wentz which doesn't scare me too much (probably jinxed it now) so yes, it will be an interesting battle of the back ups...mind you, I wouldn't have minded facing McCarthy either...

I can't believe that some have suggested on social media that the Bengals should try to sign the turnover machine Jameis Winston. Top bloke and all that but bloody hell...sign him and the season would definitely be over!

They offered a 6th for Malik Willis, who to be fair is a good backup and did incredibly well when thrust in last season but not sure he'd cut it for the Bengals and their scheme.

Chase was the right pick, tails is wrong, as is JoeyB for thinking he's an evasive running QB. He can do it, but not every fucking play. Throw the fucking ball into the sidelines and live to fight another fucking drive man

He was an evasive running QB when the LSU O-line protected him..........
