It would piss the Pox off which would be good but on a player basis he's no better than what we have here already. For that reason, I'm out.

Don't know enough about the player to say if this would be a good football signing.............but..............
Would bring a smile to the faces of Swindon fans.

Maybe Paolo will bring him in and then put him out on loan to Barnet. Grin

Imagine the intensity of the rivalry if he did sign for Swindon.

Due to their obsession with all things Swindon - Oxford could go on full meltdown.

Wonder if maybe we put in a cheeky low bid, just to rock the boat a little.

Not bothered about the badge kissing, many players do that now and it means nothing. Would be worth it just to see the reaction of the Oxford fans - would drive them up the wall.

From a footballing point of view his record is decent, and Paolo certainly seems to rate him. Were Murray to go back to Ipswich another striker wouldn't hurt.

The view from over here is that they will be 'happy' for him to go if the price is right. They even say it will spice up the game in March!

Eh?

Quote
It would be unbearable were he to go there, on so many levels. Please don't let this happen.

Quote
As much as I would hate him to go, I would be fine with it As long as it was the right amount of money and NOT Swindon.

Regardless of who the player is, we should never, EVER, sell a player to that lot.

In my opinion selling Constable, our top scorer for the past three seasons, would show that the club either has no ambition or we are struggling financially. We should hold onto to Constable in my opinion.

As for Swindon, they can **** off.

Quote
If Constable is sold, id be pretty gutted, but would understand why if it was a decent offer.

If Constable is sold to Swindon, I would never buy a season ticket again.

Quote
Agree, and as I have said before I would question the ability of the board if they sell to Swindon. If Constable is sold then fair enough if he goes on to bigger and better things and we get a good price but to that lot? Not now, not ever.

On the other hand, I can think of four or five players they can have absolutely free of charge. We're clearly just much nicer down here.

After reading that lot, I really want us to sign him, even if he never plays.
