Based on our previous dealings with the FL, if we get away without a £250k fine and being demoted to the BSP I would consider it a success.

Altogether now The Footballl League are full of shit . . . . .

What possible harm did it do, what is wrong with a bit of passion?

Absolutely Reg. There is no way in earth he was not going to get punished for that. If an opposing manager (i.e. Boothroyd if they had scored in the last minute) did it to us this forum would go into meltdown. The passion's great but he has to calm it down just a little.

We can't ask PdC to calm it down one iota. He is what he is and we do what we do because he is what he is.

(That made perfect sense to me Cheesy )

Not known yet, he has until 4pm today to respond. Fine would be the likely outcome.

£2k fine and a 5 match touchline ban I feel will be given out by the FA/FL.

The fine won't hurt him but the touchline ban surely will.

I'll ask again, as i don't think it was answered t'other day, but where has the 5 game figure, that many people have arrived at, come from? Google is failing me today!

Fergie got 5 games last season for saying Martin Atkinson shouldn't have been in charge of the Man Utd /Chelsea game and for then trying to fight the charge.

If its more than a slap on the wrist or one game for PDC I would be very suprised.

I think is was a figure plucked out of thin air to be honest.

It was picked out of thin air by me in that sentence, hence why I stated "I feel".

I just have a feeling that they will hit him hard with a touchline ban after his tocuhline antics vs the Pox which went pretty much unpunished.

Cool cheers. That Ferguson punishment could be a precedent then... (if the charge is the same, 'improper conduct' isn't it?)
