Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions but his twitter posts seem to suggest he'll be signing permanently in January.
Plus he was asking for advice on Mercedes SLK's, suggests he's signing a decent contract to afford a new car like that.
Bit of a girls car tbh unless he meant an SLR in which case we've offered him too much. Would love to see him sign regardless of the letter

It was a Mercedes SLK AMG he was asking about, which would suggest we offered him far too much (if we have).

Reading his tweets I can't see how he's saying or suggesting he's signing for us on a perm in Jan, unless I'm missing something obvious.

Such a great player and if we get him on a perm then i recon one day we will make alot of money out of him as from what i have seen so far i recon he will play at the top level.
Not 100% sure if he will be tall enough to go to the very top level, but it would certainly be a brilliant signing if we can get him in January.

Shilton wasn't tall - He's the best keeper I've ever seen.

Would love it if we signed him on a perm. What a coup that would be.

There was some other stuff, like "let's see what happens in January, smiley face" and "not ruling anything out, anything is possible in January". Maybe he's just fucking with us though. My main concern about him is that not only does he watch Eastenders, but he tweets about it as well.

Are you more of a Corrie fellow? Would love it if we signed him on a perm. What a coup that would be.
Obviously there is always a risk of a Brezovan (though injury did that IMHO), but I can't believe how assured he's looked given how young he is. The defence might have improved since August, but he's been a part of that.

I can understand the arguement about not being very tall, but neither was Shay Given, and he's done alright. Also, I sure that keeper that saved loads of pens for Ipswich back in the day was a short arse.

Apparently Wes is 6'1" - according to Wikipedia? I thought he was 5'11", so at 6'1" he's the same as Given and bigger than Barthez. They've not done too badly.
