Played and scored on Tuesday despite having suffered what must be unimaginable anguish at the weekend. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15547176.stm2 points - Fair play to the ref for not booking him for showing his tshirt. And to Carlos Tevez and today's overpaid footballers, you should take a leaf out of this guys book.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

I don't think there can be anything worse in life than your own child dying at a young age.
Not sure I'd have the strength of character to do my job so soon after.

I'd have booked him for a laugh just to see the outrage it would cause.

Big, Big, BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG respect to Billy Sharp last night...a quality player and my thoughts go to him and his family during this time!
And there's Carlos Tevez on 250k refusing to play...tosser (mild reaction)!

Them's the rules son, nothing I can do about it. Fair play to him for playing, not sure Football would mean anything to me after that but he's clearly an inspirational bloke. Weren't we after him at some point in the Playoff season?

He is right footed I believe. Cracking goal and huge respect to him for playing.

I don't think anyone can understand the amount of grief and anguish you go through as an individual/couple when something like this happens.
It happened to my wife 17 years ago. Her little boy died an hour after birth, cause unknown. Not a day goes by when she doesn't think of her son, and even though I wasn't with her at the time, we make every effort to celebrate his birthday by doing something special. Time is a healer, but the pain never, ever goes away.
Billy and his family are very much in our thoughts and prayers tonight, RIP Luey.

my dad's mum and dad lost a child very young, i think she would have been born before my dad. she is very rarely mentioned and it's not something i have ever really asked about. i get the impression that it is too much for my nan to talk about.
fair play to billy, that goal and the celebration were a credit to him and his family
