World Cup Final.
But I think you mean in terms of club football. Even Dortmund v Schalke is bigger than Manure v Liverpool.

I would say Accrington v Swindon

These big games mean nothing to me.  Biggest game in the world for a town fan should be playing Oxford.

Agree. On the world stage Man U v Liverpool is a big game but there are others that beat it ( Real v Barca ) and many that match it. I'm sure there are a few Brazilian, Argentinian, Spanish, Italian and German fans who would disagree with Fergy.

Swindon vs Poxford of course!

Next to that Real vs Barca, then Boca vs River Plate, well before Man Ure vs Liverpoo.

The biggest game in the world for me is always the next Town game.

Other than that, I don't think there's anything in Europe that can touch the Old Firm game. No other game has that long history of religious bigotry bringing with it an intensity of  hatred and hostility not seen in any other game.

I quite agree that Barca v Real Madrid is a massive game but they've not heard of the concept of 'away fans' in Spain. It is this that makes a game really big for me.

What I've seen of some of the games in Brazil and Argentina even tops the Old Firm games though (River Plate v Boca Juniors, Vasco De Gama v Flamengo etc)

Liverpool v Man U is a massive game with lots of genuine hatred there between the Mancs and Scousers. For me though, it's not even in my 'top ten' of big games let alone the biggest.

The Old Firm has been diluted for me by the sheer number of times they play each other, there's not enough time to build up to it when there's about 7 a year.

Any of the following 3 facing each other Bosnia/Croatia/S*rbia. You could not pay me to go to one of those games as there would be a reasonable chance of being killed.

Swindon v Oxford for me. Not because I actually think it is but for me personally it's the biggest game in football.

with the exception of real vs barca i think he's right.  nobody in asia gives a shit about swindon vs oxford.  by sheer numbers of 'followers' of both teams around the world this probably is the biggest domestic club game in the world.

that i don't really care who wins doesn't make it any less big
