I do find it a bit off that a) both our loan strikers start and b) McCormack continues in centre of defence (not that he has done badly there)

Is Kerrouche injured?

Totally agree.  Connell has been really hard done by imo.  If Kerrouche isn't injured, then that's harsh as well.  Although McCormack has done well, it's a risk keeping him there against bigger centre forwards.

I'm getting bored of Di Canio's wholesale and at times, unnecessary changes.

Can't see anything changing in terms of results on the road.  We'll lose again 2-1.

Radio has just said Kerrouche is not in the squad for personal reasons.

Lanzano's injured. I guess McCormack will be a natural in goal, if needed  Smiley

Quite like the look of that side. Smith and Ferry is a good partnership, two talented forwards and Flint back. I feel quite positive.

Quite like the look of the team! Would have gone for Devera instead of Mccormack but hopefully PDC knows what hes doing!

2-1 win with montano and flint on the scoresheet!

I have a feeling that Paolo want's one of the Centre-Halves to be comfortable bringing the ball out of defence, and that's why he is persisting with McCormack as the choice is him or Comazzi.

It's harsh on Devera, as he has done well in since he came back, but I guess based on the feedback after last weeks game that given a choice between him & Flint that most would go for Flint.

The keeper is hardly a surprise, although not having one on the bench is a bit of a gamble.

Be interesting to see how the front two play, two young lads from a higher division trying to make a name for themselves. Its 50/50 between being inspired or a disaster, lets hope its the former.

Whatever happens, we NEED to get some kind of result today, even if its a scrappy draw.

BBC pumping out the stats now!

We've used thirty different players after today (Foderingham and Montano are #29 and #30) and nine different strikers: De Vita, Bodin, Clarke, Connell, Kerrouche, Storey, Magera, Jervis and Montano.

It's not even the end of October. This season sure isn't dull.

There must be a lot of games of rock, paper, scissors on match day before the team is announced
