Forest have failed to agree terms with Charlton to take Paul Hart back as Director of Football. Charlton want £500K in compensation.
We missed a trick there .... !!!!

Forest have dodged a bullet and Paul Hart's a useless twat. I think that covers it.

One slight amendment but yes it does cover it.

£500k....ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Presumably that's not Charlton's "transfer value" of Paul Hart, more just a simple wage per week x number of weeks left on contract, ala Football Manager. He's still on a fair whack though. How much does that work out at if he's on a 3-year deal?

To answer my own sum, my (tired) head tells me thats just over £3.5k pw. Perhaps he's on an 8-year contract, because nobody in their right mind would pay him that much?

We live in strange times....this just proves the worthlessness of money...Mervyn King has to bail out Cameron by printing 75bn of the stuff, and Charlton think that Hart has a value of more than half a mill. We'd think he was worth 2 and 6.

I don't know him personally and he may be a 'bloody nice bloke' for all I know.
In football terms though, I absolutely hate the cunt.

Hart would claim its 5(00K) up front, but really it would be 1(00K) up front and the rest kept back.

This needs to be presented to the FA as evidence of just how fucked up football finance is in this country.

That amount is astonishing, and totally unbelievable, whoever it is behind it (Hart or Charlton) need to take a serious look at themselves.
If as OF says its a paying off of a contract then how the fuck can they justify that? he hasnt worked for that time and is going to be getting a (massive) wage at the new club, if this is "standard" in football then as Ardiles says football needs to take a long hard look at itself as its majorly fucked up.
