Paolo looking for a player in "another player in a different position" sounds like hes after a keeper then.

Shane Higgs is still without a club after being freed by Lidls in the summer, he would fit the bill nicely IMO. Hes been training with Cheltenham but surely we could offer him a better lifeline.

I believe Higgs was born in O*ford....would this be acceptable to the lumpenproletariat amongst our fan base?

lumpenproletariat

Nice word.

But yes I know what you mean, there are elements that would find that unbearable.

Surely we don't need a third keeper?

Being born or even living in Scumland isn't a problem for me. Its either the consciuos decision to be a Scummer or if you have ever been connected to the club that swings it for me. As long as Higgs ain't a Scummer then he's alright by me although tans has a fair point about Leeds rejects.
I thought Higgs was only good when he played against us.

Not unusual to have both keepers injured, don't want it costing us round the seasons end so a decent third keeper is a must.
