Right, but the problem is you can't sing "Paolo! Paolo! Fare un cenno di saluto con la mano! Paolo! Fare un cenno di saluto con la mano!"...sometimes you have to stretch the meaning a little to make things fit..e.g. "En-ger-land" or "S-windon!"
All I'm doing is coming up with an option...

Appreciate that totally - like I said, it doesn't really have a good sing-able quality to it... but singing something that is a bit ridiculous is not great either! Not quite the same as overpronouncing syllables really, or stretching the meaning - just think how much people laugh at stupidly translated signs, etc.
Really not trying to be an arse but just wanted to be helpful in an area I actually know something about for once!
