Di Canio's reaction to Shrewsbury defeat

PAOLO Di Canio was disappointed with the lack of heart shown by some of his players after Town suffered their fourth successive League Two defeat with a 2-1 loss at Shrewsbury Town today.

Just read the comments. There are some real shrubs on there. 5 games in and they have imploded, the same posters that on Tuesday night were very happy with everything.

The job of the manager is to improve the team at half time. His method of saying 'thats not good enough' at half time when were 1-0 up has not worked. Second half we've lost the plot.

Pretty worrying to be honest.

It's just a shame that PDC seems to have an enormous amount of energy, passion and fight in his soul. The average modern day footballer wants a 3 day working day in the week play a game of football at the weekend then do whatever they want to do the rest of the time.  PDC has a hell of a job on his hands.

It is but it's a learning curve for him. Do you think the likes of Fergie and Jose Mourinho are ever happy? They never look it but they are great managers. I'm sure they have had a few half time rants in the past even when their team has been winning. Hopefully he has learned from it.
