Yes and I remember he subsequently came back to the County Ground playing for Luton I think .. and we made him look like a world-beater by aimlessly launching long punts straight at his head despite knowing full well he was slow with the turning circle of an HGV...
Good recall that. I certainly binned that one off. The only vague thing I remember of that game was being quite impressed by the numbers Luton brought...and not being able to quite work out why.

Lerner has turned that club into a complete clusterfuck, a total shambles. My brother-in-law is a Villa fan so I always kinda root for them, it's a shame to see them in such a state.

After 31 games in the Premiership we were on 23 points.....Villa are are 16. We had scored 35 and let in 72. Villa have scored 22 and let in 58. We only ever lost at most 4 games on the trot (coincidentally our first 4 matches)....Villa have lost 6 in a row currently. They really are shit.

Plenty of Prem teams have got less than us in a season. The daddy being Derby 07/08 29th March who acquired 11 points from 1 win, and were officially relegated yesterday 29th March. I do wonder with Derby's now annual choke if they still have some psychological block.....it's not that long ago.

11 points from 1 win? Most teams only get 3.

Valencia have been truly terrible under Neville, fair play to the fella for having a go.....but way out of his depth.

Don't know why but I have a totally irrational hatred of this bloke, always have as a player and pundit, his brother is ok though.

I did (and still do to a degree) however watching the programme about Salford City he does have something of a sense of humour (the discussion about their illegal sky box being rather funny!).
