This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

I got my old man a card and went down and saw him for a while before work.
I feel like a bit of a cunt, even though he always says a card and a visit is all he wants.

My Dads dead,I only really knew him for 14 years of my life.We had family problems(that were out of his control) and I didnt hear from him till he got Cancer, then I was to proud to say hi and it was all over before I made my mind up to see him.Sad really,he was a decent bloke but just a product of his times.I miss him and regret not spending time with him.
On the plus side I never had to buy a card.

Had the old git round for a BBQ today (along with the rest of the family) and he drank all my good red wine. Got him the fire in babylon Dvd, whilst I got a new golf towel from the kids.
Will probably have to use it tomorrow, as am playing golf with the old duffer.

For me it was a bacon and egg muffin, decent coffee and the Paolo Di Canio autobiography - nice!

I gave mine a few cans of Speckled Hen and a slab of Bournville, wrapped in a Tesco carrier and without a card (sold out). Think he was happy, mum was far from impressed.

I'd have been chuffed to bits with that.

I had nothing at all from my 2 sons, and 1 of my step daughters but the other step daughter and her boyfriends bought me a swindon shirt Took the wife away for fathers day as we have both lost our dads in the last 6 months, just to get away from it all.
