Big Lumbering centre forwards do well in L2....fact.

However, the point that he cannot finish from any distance ...is... a worry.

Anybody who thinks we are going to sign AC Milan youth and piss the league playing pretty football better wake up!

After we sold Austin we had to play Dossevi up front. If Pericard cant get into a team with Dossevi up front on his own then it might be a big pointer that he cant actually play football anymore.

In short, anyone who wants to keep him is absolutely mental.

Pericard to get a contract next season? Odds of a million to 1.

Spence, you know the drill. He'll sign for the pox and score a hattrick against us at home.

He isn't a bad player, just needs a team who will be nice to him.
Wouldn't worry me one bit if we kept him to be honest,a few balls into the box and not to his feet on the halfway line might help as well.

Really? I didn't notice many big lumbering centre forwards this season, and saw even less of them actually doing well.

Here's the top scorers chart:

Donaldson    Crewe    28
Lowe    Bury    27
McDonald    Gillingham    25
Davies    Chesterfield    23
Le Fondre    Rotherham    23
Miller    Crewe    19
Corr    Southend    18
Thomas    Cheltenham    18
Lester    Chesterfield    17
Harrad    Northampton    16
M Richards    Port Vale    16
Constable    Oxford Utd    15
Craddock    Oxford Utd    15
Grimes    Lincoln City    15
Robinson    Torquay    15

Not many big men there, and even less lumberers.

Benyon would be on that list as well had we not bought him.

Not quite what you would call a big lumberer

Nutmegged himself there a bit.

He must be one helluva temperamental player if his performances for us have all been so heavily influenced by us not being nice to him.
The only real attribute I've seen is his ability to hold up the ball and lay it off.
He has no pace, has no aerial presence and can't shoot - I can't think of any decent strikers I've ever seen that fit that description.

Pericard is a borderline case.

I can't work out if he's just plain shit or totally fucking bollocks.

Next.

It'd be quite a small dictionary, adje.
