It all sounds a bit  :gay: these days but you have to remember this was back in 2006 when the T’Internet was young and the days were long and hot.

Basically the Adver site became full of fuck-sticks trying to outdo one another and see who could post the most shite each day.  It wasn’t even reasoned shite it was who could reply to each thread the most and deteriorate every topic into bollocks.

So the TEF was born.

Didnt any of those 'fuck-sticks' come and join here?

TEF was around before 2006

Didn't the database get wiped when the hosting was moved, or did I dream that?

I migrated from thisis in 2007. I think when I started posting on thisis the TEF was already up and running.

As you can see I am not a prolific poster.

Mex has gone.
Our Lord and Saviour has gone.
And I think PaulD is thinking about it.
So to recap
Mex

Bunintheoven

Lumps

maybe PaulD

I would of thought Sonic would do a runner

but the big question is how does this affect the Town?
Which of the above has a season ticket or watches every other home game? (As paying customers)
Who if anybody sponsors players, games or pay for advertising?
In short how much dosh will the Town lose? From this human avalanche.

I think the net loss is more to do with the good will the club will lose, you could argue that having paolo will bring more in than will be lost but those that have been/will be lost are fans that have stuck with the club through think and thin, those we'll gain will be tourists who'll fuck off if the football doesn't reach expectations.

mex was a regular sponsor of players by the way.

Didn't it undergo an 'upgrade' that reset everything... I remember a few members being slightly fed up that their post count had been lost...

It also didnt help the adver forum was only moderated during office hours. You could post anything after 5pm on a Friday and it would there till Monday morning.

Also, another main reason as I remember it was J1mmy and Gary Stanley!!

Santini was Nicho's father, so no surprise he doesnt post anymore. He used to all the games with jim who was Nicho's uncle. Jim was a decent bloke.

Does anyone know if J1mmy still alive and follows the Town? He was the biggest wind up poster ever.
There was always room for one troll on a forum.
