I'd agree too. His abrasiveness disguises a pretty intelligent bloke

Personally I can't stand the bloke and think he's total cunt. I wouldn't mind him as manager though (I don't have to like him, I don't even like most of the players!)

His abrasiveness doesn't disguise the fact he's intelligent, it just prooves he's a bit of a cunt.

Have it on good authority that the mystery candidate and/or contracted manager is a former Swindon player.

Nijholt.
Calderwood.
Fjortoft.

Nijholt really wouldn't suprise me. He has applied about 3/4 time already so i see no reason to see why he wouldn't apply this time.

People talk about Di Canio tearing people a few new arseholes...well, Luc would do it in a very literal sense.

Kerslake or Culverhouse - both no 2s looking to step up. Hockaday was fancied last time.

I'd quite like so see the appointment of Luc Nijholt.

Loads of experience, wants the job and would be popular for being a former player too. Also, people can't use the "don't ruin the memories" excuse as his only two full campaigns at Swindon both resulted in relegation so the memories aren't that great anyway Smiley

Anyone mentioned Nicky Hammond yet? Might have decided he fancies a go at management.

Maybe that's why they let him join Volendam in '95?

Has Mark Robins been mentioned on here yet? Just noticed that he may well be on his way out if Barnsley.
