he was fucking dire, as ghanimah says we weren't going to win by bundles anyway but fuck me he got so many things wrong.
2 footed tackle - yellow instead of red
penalty appeals ignored
ignoring caddis being taken off the ball
booking caddis for being chucked over
frampton's first booking could have been avoided had he used more tact, but also if the ref hadn't decided a drop ball etc was the way forwards.

Whilst we were diabolical and were always going to lose the way we played, it doesn't disguise the fact that the ref was a total arsehole who shouldn't be allowed in a football ground as a paying spectator. Hope he's flying back and Trevor Kettle is doing air traffic control. Jesus, we've had some crap refs this season. It's like each one turns up and someone says to them "You can't be anyone worse than the wanker we had last week" and they take it as some sort of challenge.

I thought the ref wasn't too bad. One particular good decision springs to mind. You know the one where Caddis tried to take a quick free kick, got barged and stamped on? Then the ref decided to give him a yellow. Spot on ref.  |

Yesterday's ref was shite, but we've had a few of those this season.
Still not as bad as Andy Hall who gave Hartlepool a pen in the last minute a few seasons ago, when everyone thought it was a free kick outside the box.
