I've been playing Age of Empires II.
I was part expecting it to be a case where I remember it as being better than it actually is and being disappointed. It's still bloody good though.

I'm currently working my way through Far Cry 3 and 4. Both excellent.

I prefer 3 for gameplay/story but the graphics in 4 are stunning.

Other than gta, and fifa when people are over, farcry is the only Xbox game I've really got into. Farcry 3 was brilliant and I brought 4 back with me recently. Now I just need a chance to bloody play it.

With you on that so far, but the take down controls are far more satisfying in 4. The other day I rappelled into a cave, swung across to do a death from above, then snuck up behind another guard, stabbed him in the throat and then used knife throw takedown on his mate. Felt like a fucking ninja! My only gripe with the series is replayability is probably zero. I just can't see myself having another play through which is a shame.

4 definately has better weaponry and vehicles, flying on the micro chopper and riding an elephant are great fun, as for replayability there are several paths to the goal and I have to admit that I have played 3 right through a few times but only completed 4 the once and have no massive urge to go for it again. Good games though. Havent tried Far Cry Primal yet though.

You were right, it isn't any good. Been playing Mini Metro lately, a game about designing you own underground network, simple yet totally absorbing.

OK... strategy.
Is it best to focus on smaller lines, or larger lines with more trains and carriages?
