Think the four years had something to do with something else as well. However had I been on the jury and heard that the three stooges had lain in wait, which I think in this day and age is highly probable, then it would have been a big "Not Guilty" from me

Errrr, they were both ejected from the casino at the same time Pity those poor mites now languishing in their prison cells didn't have 12 STFCinBournemouths on the jury, instead of those muppets who allowed a blatant mis-carriage of justice to happen

To re-iterate:
Shortly before 4.50am on Sunday 28 February 2010, the two victims, Owen Fitzpatrick, 24, and a 26-year-old man, were chatting to two women inside Manchester 235 casino on Watson Street.
Etuhu, who was drunk, took exception to this as one of the women was his girlfriend and he became aggressive. Security staff intervened and both parties left. Etuhu and Richards spotted the pair and approached them.
Etuhu head-butted Mr Fitzpatrick before directing a number kicks at his head. He got to his feet and managed to walk towards the casino where he was violently assaulted by Richards, as he lay defenceless on the floor. The second victim attempted to stop the assault but was chased away by both defendants who caught up with him and he was then assaulted.
Mr Fitzpatrick suffered a fractured jaw, a cut eye and cuts and bruises to his face and body. The second victim suffered cuts and bruises to his head, face and body and was left unconscious.

If the BBC report is correct then as soon as he got back out of the BMW he was accountable for the events that followed - the jury simply has to ask the was the act if getting out of the BMW an act of self defence and would the assault have occurred if he stayed in it. The answer is no in both circumstances and, even if events had kicked off, he would have had better grounds for claiming self defence or being the innocent victim. He had the opportunity to walk (drive) away from the situation but chose not to and at that point instigated the events that followed.
People need to learn that sometimes it is better to be the bigger man and avoid a situation than try to be the harder man and risk being sent down

I think the length of the sentence is partly because theyve been unlucky enough to get caught giving them a beating on very good CCTV. Judges dont usually get to see it in that sort of detail.
You lads are just going to have to agree to disagree! Certainly the law has backed Shady's view.

Jeez, give me strength They're banged up, get over it, the poor diddums that flung a woman to the ground, exited the casino with the express intention of inflicting serious harm upon the trio, are now doing bird. The jury clearly went with the account I put credence in. Enjoy the showers Etuhu, CUNT
