Forum News: DVinho's mum completes loan of Breville Snack Toaster

Following heavy criticism of the quality of her dinners, DVinho's mum has completed the loan of a Breville Snack Toaster from a friend of her sisters.

There has been a mixed reaction to the acquisition, and Forum News has spoken to some former TEFers to get their thoughts.

Piemonte, who made 7153 appearances on the forum between 2004 and 2007, was unsure about the impact that the snack maker would have.

"It's mainly used for making bread based snacks, so I'm not sure it will have the versatility required for making a satisfactory dinner. You might get away with a couple of Findus crispy pancakes, but it's not going to cope with burgers or chicken."

Janaage, who made 12828 appearances for TEF before retiring in May of last year, disagreed.

"The great thing about snack toasters is that you can put anything between two bits of bread and get a perfectly adequate meal out of it. My one concern would be that if we went with cheese and beans up top we might burn our mouths off if we don't show the required patience."
