I am all for giving the kid a chance!  But if he hasnt scored a hat trick inside the first 30 mins on Saturday I will be calling him a cunt!!

I am guessing/hoping this will be 4-4-2 on saturday so will it be ......

Andrew/Grella?
Andrew/Benyon?
Andrew/Dossevi?
Or something else??

i reckons that both benyon and grella both drop deep. we need someone on the shoulder of defenders...like what dossevi tries to do, without the flag being up

Think Grella's played well enough last few games to deserve a good run in the side, will be better with someone up top with him as well I think.

Just feel like Benyon's the one actual goalscorer we've got (and that is what we need right now). All bar one at the level below obviously but he's got 25 league goals since the start of last season, as opposed to Dossevi, Andrew, Obika and Grella's combined 26 goals ever in English League football.

Are we trying to assemble some kind of record collection of non-goalscoring strikers?

No 'trying' about it - I think we're pretty much there!

Well, it's not easy choosing that one man to go up front when you're desperate for a win, so it's important we have about 78 to choose from.

His record does not inspire confidence considering the position we are in!  Still as long as he can fill in at left back he'll be ok.  Just hope that Mr Negative Cunt goes for a 4-4-2 on Saturday with Grella and Andrew.  Benyon to be on the bench again, not fit yet.

Grella and Andrew for me. Andrew isn't one of them yet so he might play well for one game before he becomes shit.

Sounds a lot like Shaun Taylor

Except he's a striker, and he's black, and he's bigger.

So not really like Shaun Taylor at all. Except he's not afraid to stick his head where it'll get hurt.

I think i'd be inclined to go 3-5-2 on sat. Can only see Dagenham playing narrow with 2 banks of 4 and us struggling to break them down (as evident in the last how many home games). We badly need some width, and if we've got some big lump upfront, then getting the balls in from out wide would be a start.
