Another reason the next 7 days are massive. Another reason going down could be a disaster.

I will be renewing, but it is inevitable that many won't:
 1. If we look like we will go down - could be more or less sealed by earlybird deadline
 2. The early bird deadline itself is stupidly early and was without much warning.

Such a shame after the groundswell created by a Wembley appearance.

I'm already sorted for next season.

None of that results-based pseudo-support from me :-)

My McDonalds job is looking precarious but I might of made a leap of faith if expensive fourth division football wasn't so inevitable.

How much was your season ticket last time we were in League 2?

Mine was c.£350.

This sentence makes no sense whatsoever.  You must be eating all the Big Macs and then throwing them up over the Manager or something, because even my 2 year old son would get a job there.  Maybe he is taking yours?

I might go to more games next season in L2, less people hopefully and right now it's people around me, wherever I seem to sit, that make it annoying.  I've seen shit before. I've not known it be quite so hatred filled as it does these days, even last season people seemed to revel in spouting shit within my earshot.

mcDonald type of job.  Meaningless other than an income.  It's the lack of income where the problem of a new season ticket would lay.  I still think a reduction in price for fourth division football would be acceptable.  Still we can wait and see how many people renew whatever division we are in come August.

Expensive 4th division football ? Are you taking the piss??

259 quid is still bloody cheap.

The price for a new season ticket is seriously tempting again this season. £13 a game compared to £20 is a fantastic deal.

Next season we could easily see something like 83/84, if the Board get it wrong again.

Lest we forget we finished 17th in Div 4, our lowest ever placing, by the end of the season, gates were down to <2000.

Yet we had a bit of quality especially wide and up front....Dave Hockaday...Garry Nelson...a pick of Andy Rowland Alan Mayes or Jimmy Quinn.

Nevertheless, when you're down to the absolute hardcore of fans, there's something about it that makes it special....kind of Dunkirk spirit, that lurks in every English man or woman's heart.

And those Div 4 seasons were the birthplace of my Swindon following times as a nipper.

Nothing to do with results, more performances.

Still in two minds, this team and manager still have 3 weeks or so to convince me to sign back up.

The players took a step to convince me today, the manager didn't!  We shall see.

It will be an almost complete new team for next season. Its a complete roulette wheel.

What we do from now until the end of the season wont matter that much.

In fact, if we continue to be utterly shite, it might convince the board to really get the chequebook out.

We will renew ours,  probably next weekend.

For us it's about cost, and under £600 for the three of us is excellent value.

If I remember correctly, didn't Nick Watkins pass a comment on the BBC Wilts phone in that our ST prices were the 3rd cheapest in the entire FL, Div 4 included.

I would much prefer us to win every week, and be in a higher division. But as a Town fan I will support them in whatever division they end up playing in.

If watching football was about supporting a team that wins (often), or plays at the highest level I would have lots of better options far closer to home.
