It depends how much ££££ is being offered really doesn't it?
If it's £50k then I'd tell them where to go, but if it's £250k then I think we'd probably all agree that's a pretty good deal for a raw talent who we got on a free.
Ware not a fucking shop for buying and selling players.....its starting to really fuck me off all this selling shit.. Yeah it gets a few quid in the bank.....but its players we need not money...the Austin deal will sort that. Oh and for all you doubters......Rogers knows nothing about players does he....taken Swans to the top of the Championship...what a mug. Chances are playing in a team ware the defence isn't constantly under pressure he will flourish...i like him and hope he stays. |

For all we know, there is and never has been any plan to sell LJF yet we still get the meltdown. Fucking ridiculous.
Some of you should know better, but obviously don't.
The TEF started for a specific reason. 1 Gold star for anybody who remembers what that reason was.

I hear you. I like him too. He's decent in the air, can play CB or LB, not slow, can play football and has a touch. He's obviously not the finished article, and prone to losing concentration. But let's say we get this 'new' CB in tomorrow, then they offer £300,000 plus a sell-on fee. Would you not flog him? |

No Rodney i wouldnt. My personal opinion is that the sales of Cox and Austin has more than balanced the books....with the sell ons to Reading and Poole we are going to get around 2 million the pair......the sale of Morrison,Greer....and maybe JFL irks me.....good players going(my opinion)...and not easily replacable. To be fair the club have spent out on the Scottish duo and Ritchie......and Flint. I feel the club need to splash out(sensibly) on a star name to try and win some fans back..because they will struggle to attract season ticket buyers next season...............love him or hate him Austin had that star quality that a lot of Swindons youngsters liked.....he was cocky and good.....young fans like that. We cant just keep selling everytime a decent offer comes in. |
