I look at that article, read the quotes, speculate on what it all means for the club and I think: what are the sub editors doing at the adver?

I read that and think well done Mr F for saying that....Austin owes you big time and his comments were disrespectful, to you, the club and fans.

Might have been agent generated to speed up a move, but Austin now has some bridges to build if he cares about retaining a decent reputation with Town fans.

I may be the only one but i would rather Fitton kept quiet to be honest sometimes. H eis to vocal imo when it comes to these things and when it comes to targets and goals he sets himself up to get alot of abuse.

I think Fitton's quotes on this one are spot on and exactly how I would want him to respond.

I was thinking that when my Dad rang me and told me he'd been speaking about it.

But when I read it, I thought fair enough really. He's pretty spot on.

Completely agree.  We get statement after statement, but nothing else.  It's tedious and unsettling.

It's Friday afternoon and some of us like a good statement....it has to be said though, that Fitton's efforts are not in the class of Diamandis.

This season is getting better by the day....we're fucking up in a completely novel way, to previous fuck ups.  Ace

The road to division 4 is paved with good intentions.

I always see the road to Div 4 as being paved with cobbles...in some place like Accrington, with a brass band playing the Hovis music in the background.

Good point reg.

I meant to say the road to div4 is paved with well meant statements but I got distracted and a bit late to edit now because you've quoted it.

I prefer your version anyway. Makes div4 sound like quite a nice place, a picturesque contrast to modern stadiums and tv cameras. Bring on relegation.
