Perhaps shutting the food kiosk in the town end before it went to extra time in the Crawley game wasn't such a good idea either. I can understand not being able to do hot food, but hot drinks take just a moment to pour. It was freezing and that's all people wanted.
Have a whinge at the weather Watkins, but stuff like that will have longer term knock on effects when people just end up bringing their own flask to football etc.

Didn't think Watkins was whinging, more just explaining the full ramifications of a postponement - there's a lot of knock-on that most of us don't realise. I thought it was quite interesting tbh

Not so simples leefer. A crowd rise of 20%, followed by a fall of 20% (or vice versa), would in fact still leave you 4% short of the original crowd.

Which is why it is very difficult in football to stand still....you either tend to be progressing or regressing....you get the odd interval where the brakes are taking effect, which is probably where we are now... So recent progress has gone...we're at a temporary stand still....and now most likely to regress. The money got from the sale of Austin is going to have to be very carefully used in team strengthening...

“I had the chef down today to say he didn’t begin preparation for Saturday’s game, which is something as it will limit our wastage, but we have to prepare now for the games on the 28th and January 1.
Chef, is he having a laugh or what!
