Prutton regretful at Dale draw

MIDFIELDER David Prutton was downhearted after Town had victory snatched from their grasp at Rochdale this afternoon, but admitted his side had not deserved to win.

I'm really liking Prutton now. Putting together a really good run of form and he says it exactly how it is. I think he knows what makes the fans tick and isn't afraid to say things which are negative about the team. Shame we don't have someone like him at the back.

Prutton's runs at 2-1 today really helped us get back into the game. Drove us on from midfield when we needed someone to grab hold of the game and he did that. Him and Douglas are forming a bit of a partnership there now. Wonder if a certain Mr Ferry will be benchwarming for quite some time?

Prutton is a good player...always has been, his problem has been finding a club where his attributes are used to the max...ie good passing and midfield runs that go deep into the opponents defence.
If he is used like Douglas ie a battling defensive midfielder then he is/was wasted in the team....his yellow/red card tally already for us bear this out....played well v Colchester last week also so lets hope he has turned the corner...for a while it looked dodgy for him here.
