Always look at the match stats...Charlton had two on target..and won 3-2!....lucky team at home.
Sheff Wednesday had four on target.....and all four went in.

Not just lucky, fucking miraculous. Think that alone tells you all you need to know about the worth of the match stats. BBC Football site's gone completely to shit over the past two seasons

One was a penalty, for some reason they dont count those as shot's on target. Never understood why.

Still amazing that a team can win with those stats...both Brighton and Charlton are not that great...Brighton are starting to get the jitters.

No, one of Yeovil's was. As sutton says, it's cos they don't count pens as shots on target (wonder what they do with missed pens then?). But pedantry aside, your main point is a good one. There's not much quality in this League this season which is why our (to date) failure to get up there and among them is so frustrating

Yes Yes........the bigger teams(Wednesday,Charlton)have that annoying trait of taking the few chances they have.
