good god we do have some retarded fans, there is even one fan who commented on that story saying that Wilson is past it and pretty much shit and should be sacked, if Notts County sack their manager why won't we? Wilson is the best manager we have had since Hoddle.

Yeah, I told him he was clueless. I hope I hurt his feelings.

Sturrock won more promotions in his management career. Sturrock had a better win ratio percentage here than Wilson does and Sturrock has a marginally better win ratio percentage over his whole career.
Sturrock it probably past it now - his return to Plymouth was a disaster but I dont get why our fans dont seem to like him? He came here and did his job. He got us out of L2 and kept us up - exactly what was asked of him whilst having his hands severely tied with all the backstage crap.

I've got no issue with Sturrock whatsoever.
Sure Danny has his faults but I'd rather watch his football. Ok so it hasn't been great all of the time this season but it beats the stuff we were playing 3 years ago.

Oh, definitely - if we are going on entertainment factor or the football played then Wilson completely smokes Sturrock as a manager.
However, myself personally - I'd happily take 46 dull, boring, shit, worst football you've ever seen 1-0 wins over a season!

If he hadn't got us out of League 2 it would of been criminal, if Wise had stayed in charge we would of probably won the league. Under Sturrock we stuttered through the season and only secured promotion close to the of the season. Sturrock has a lack of imagination with signings (always signs his old players), a lack of imagination with tactics (we were boring as shit) and he was always defending the old board so can't say I really remember him fondly and I certainly think Wilson is better.

If we'd started the season with Sturrock we'd have won it to.
Those two home defeats with Ady Williams in charge was the difference between Champions and 3rd place.
Good players are good players, no matter how many times you sign them. I've already said I'll take boring tactics if we win.
