I still count myself as a lurker, been registered for best part of 4 years but most posts are on match day as I don't live locally so don't make it to too many games.
I think the familiarity of some can seem a bit daunting/intimidating.

I lurk although have become a bit more active over the past couple of months.
I know that I will never know anyone here in person due to the fact I live 60 miles and only time I ever visit Swindon is driving in to the town, watch a game, drive out again. I actually like the fact that on here I can see the views of “everyman” Town fans as in my real life almost all my mates/family are standard so-called-fan big team followers.
Wouldn't count on that. I'm a hundred miles away, and have probably met at least a dozen regulars on several occasions, and do most games. Once you fall into conversation with someone on here in a pub at a game(away normally), it tends to snowball, and then they stalk you for life  |
