How brilliant would it be if they got Gus Poyet...

I personally cannot see how anyone could work for that dickhead of a chairman.
I did laugh a few days ago that SSN said a source at Saints said that 2 Premiership managers applied to take over at Saints, and were willing to drop 2 divisions. Bollox.

I heard that but thought they said 2 ex Premiership managers had applied, I too can't see anyone willing to leave the Premiersship to join them...pie in sky.

No they said 2 managers that were working in the Prem willing to drop down...and that they 50 applications, quite a lot from managers currently employed. I personally think this 'source' probably came from the Chairman direct. Either that or they've employed Baghdad Bob.

This should at least ensure they have no manager in for Saturday, at least not one that's gonna have any say over how they play. What a joke they are.

Adkins deserves praise for his professionalism by the looks of it, not that the same can be said of the other party.
How much money would TEFers need to put on Poyet with one bookmaker to get the odds shortened enough to scare the shit out of a few Brightoners?

Fair play to Adkins. That's what I will say. Good news for us with Saturday in mind.

What, like when Wilson was unveiled a few years ago here? He never even made the game at Orient, but the players (And the fans) responded to the news and got a great result.

Whoever goes there now is only an afterthought after Adkins turned them down.
It'll have to be a 'yes' man...Graham Rix anyone...

Southampton are a mess, I hope we can capitalise on it somehow. That's all.

Adkins didn't turn them down though. He actually says he wants the job but only if compensation is paid to Scunthorpe. Apparently there is still a chance he could get the job.

Doubt it, Southampton withdrew the offer after he said he wanted to do things the right way. Obviously not the Southampton way under Cortese
