That's what I thought arriba. I'm sure Fitton said the same thing about Greer.

I didnt want to say it first, but yeah similar.

I've heard chinese whispers that Greer wanted to go, I've heard chinese whispers that he wanted to stay.

Him wanting to go would fit in more so with the fact Fitton said something similar but we still sold him.

Or, of course Fitton could just be telling us what we want to hear.

I'm with arriba and his salt on this one...

I don't think he'll leave before tomorrow. But if we've not improved and got ourselves in the mix come January, then we really will be biting our nails just waiting for the bids to rain in.

That is true but Austin is obviously a very sought after football commodity and bigger clubs will come sniffing if he scores goal, which he is doing. It is pretty obvious that a lot of clubs have scouts watching him and are in the wings waiting to see if there is any point in making an offer in the off chance it will be accepted by a weak board, which we no longer have.

i think austin is deffo being chased.clubs would have waited a bit to see if he started this season as he finsihed the last.he has started well,so someone will try to buy him.
another reason for this is that if he bangs more goals in whilst staying here, his value will increase even more.they will have seen enough by now and will take a punt on him,i'm sure of it.

that then leaves it to the player himself, and whether fitton takes the offers on the table.
