True, Caddis hasnt exactly convinced me yet (admittedly after one game) that he's any better than Big Kev.

Although we were winning today when Kev came on!!

Im keeping the faith, the only way is up  Head Hurts

I think you're right to....back in pre season people were amazed that media pundits predicted 14th or 15th for us...it isn't easy to rebuild half a team, it will take a bit of time...let's see who we get in before Tuesday night..

Extremely tough game next. At least we know Ferry will be coming in, we desperately need this centre back, more than anything else let's just get this fucking defender in and a striker. Let's get through September before we try and predict what kind of season we're going to have.

Excuse my ignorance but why is Ferry not playing, not match fit or not good enough? The Prutton sending off sounds like a bit of good news as this'll hopefully put Ferry in for the Southampton game.

This is bad....but I am a long wat from griping about Danny. Please God, not a season of mediocrity, because we're definitely not going down, but those 'nothingness seasons' are hard to endure.

get used to it.it's been inevitable since before a ball was kicked this season.

It was always going to take a while for everyone to settle, particularly the lads from up north, as there is far more to sort than just turning up to play. Half expected this, but would expect everyone to start gelling in the next few games.

WRONG...................how many have we scored...5 in 5,thats including three home matches.

WRONG 6 in 5 actually. 1 against Brighton, 1 against Orient, 2 against Hartlepool, 1 against Brentford and 1 today.

Take away the goals conceded and that's 5 victories.  Smug Fuck Off

Greer, Sheehan, Ferry, Ward and Paynter are more than a few players. Thats nearly half a team.

Three havent been replaced, one has been replaced with an even worse player and one is sitting on our bench whilst a dave look a like does a much worse job.

I have to agree with Arriba.  I had my concerns due to the number and quality of the players we had lost over the summer, but then some decent looking transfer activity at our end raised my spirits and left me feeling positive again.  Unfortunately, so far the players we have brought in are not playing well enough and neither are the ones that are left from last season.

I will be massively disappointed if the transfer window shuts without any new players coming in, because quite frankly I can't see where 3 points is going to come from with the current set up.  I appreciate Wilson's comments in that 'he wants to find the right man' not 'just any man' or whatever it was he said, but something quite clearly needs to be done.  I also appreciate that he has done good business in the past, but again, this is an example of it taking too long and in the meantime we continue to ship goals and drop points.

On another negative note, not only can we not win when we go a goal behind, but that's now both games that we've gone a goal up in that we've then gone on to lose 2-1.  Both with two goals in fairly quick succession as well.

It's all very well suggesting Wilson needs more haste in the players market, but if you don't think what he's brought in so far has been good enough then bringing in any old body isn't going to be the answer.

Maybe I am being too hasty in my thoughts, I just feel really disappointed with the way things are going.  When we went a goal up today, I thought it might be the turning point. What are your thoughts? Do you think the current team including new players need to be given longer to gel together?
