Exeter's game at Dagenham on Saturday has now been postponed due to the death of Stansfield.

Interesting to note, no black armbands or a minute silence at the England game last night.

I may be in a minority but what a disgrace and I hope the FA hang their heads in shame!  Especially these days when it seems just about anyone gets a minutes silence or black armbands!

Fully agree on that. Saying that there has hardly been anything in the nationals about his death.

Very sad news...but not sure I agree with that.  Across the 92 clubs, there are probably something like 3,000 registered players.  Sadly, one or two of those players are going to die every year or so.  Law of averages.  If Adam Stansfield had played for England, then certainly a minute's silence at Wembley would be appropriate.  But he didn't.  He played for Exeter, and they will almost certainly honour him there.  Unless we want to turn every international game into a memorial service for whoever involved in football passed away most recently, it's not really appropriate I don't think.

Maybe not a minutes silence then but surely black armbands would have been to much work for the poor sods!  A little respect please!

Though I seem to remember a game for a premier league team a few years back where they had a minutes silence because the managers dad had died ........ bizarre!
