Tbh I'm not sure the people who did the spraying took into account the fact it was a war memorial. They might have just waned to spray on Rovers' stadium.

Also I'm not sure why Bristol City supporters want to pay for it as it wasn't them who did it. I suppose they're disgusted at it and want to show they're against it.
