Anyone aware of where they're being held this season? Wembleys hosting the chumps league final, which uefa have said has to be held on the bank holiday weekend (I forget the actual dates).

Pretty sure I read somewhere the championship final is definatly on the bank holiday monday, but leagues one and two are up in the air right now I think. Old trafford have been asked to tender for the contract, whilst I also believe the emirates are rumoured to host it. Would have thought cardiff would have been the automatic choice though.

Any ideas/thoughts/preferences?

Though it is of course all academic for us, seeing as we shall win the league by march

I don't think they're being played this weekend. Normally they're played at the end of the season, and it'd be a shame to break with tradition.

The article was in the independent yesterday or the day before.

"Yet more fixture congestion and the new season has not even begun. At the back end of it will come the unlikely scenario of the FA Cup final being played on a regular Premier League Saturday, 14th May. The problem this time is caused by the Champions League final being at Wembley on 28th May, which means that Uefa insist on the stadium not being used for 10 days beforehand; a sensible precaution given the recent problems. So the teams involved (assuming they are from the top flight) will have to move their 14th May fixtures as soon as there identity is known, while most other scheduled games will be on the Sunday. There is a knock-on effect too for the Football League with at least two of the play-off finals having to be moved elsewhere, to the disappointment of lower league clubs missing out on a trip to Wembley. The League are seeking hefty financial compensation."

Whats the odds that it's the league one and two play-off finals that miss out?

Who fucking cares? The pitch is shite so playing somewhere else can only be good for the quality of football.

If they're moving, it'll be odds on to be at Cardiff, unless it's unavailable for some reason.

Been to Wembley, done that now. If we are fortunate enough to make the final again I don't care where it is. A stadium with a proper football pitch would be nice.

Yes but we didn't take half of that. How many tickets was it we sold? 27,000 or something?
